A story that started nearly 15 years ago...
Mont Blanc Weddings by Origyne·s is just the beginning of an adventure that started in 2006.
Our professional encounter that year rapidly grew into a solid bond.
This friendship led us down many paths, which one day crossed with Jody's, who started Mont Blanc Weddings in 2010.
A few wonderful events later, the time had come for Jody to set off for new horizons, so she naturally turned to us to carry on running Mont Blanc Weddings in 2019. The business then became Mont Blanc Mariages & Célébrations by Origyne·s, our event agency with a difference.
Today, Mont Blanc Weddings & Celebrations organises family celebrations, and Origyne·s arranges corporate events.
I grew up in the south of France and I have now been living in Megève for 15 years. I came for work, and fell in love with a ski instructor who also made me fall in love with these beautiful mountains.
I started a career in the hotel industry where I learned a lot about customer service. How to understand the clients' expectations and how to provide them with the experience that will fully meet these expectations.
My encounter with Flore was a wonderful surprise! We immediately bonded professionally and then privately too. The idea of starting a business together rapidly germinated in our minds but we waited for the opportune moment which arose with the takeover of Mont Blanc Weddings. It was the perfect occasion for us to get started!
I have myself experienced the key emotional moments in one's life... And like all future brides and mothers-to-be, I was told "Enjoy each moment, time flies so fast that you barely have time to enjoy these precious moments" and it's so true!
I am happy today to share my experience with couples and families who want to celebrate these unique milestones. It is always a great pleasure to organise everything for them so that they can enjoy these moments with absolute peace of mind!
I was lucky enough to grow up in the Alps, in the countryside near Annecy. My parents always encouraged my sister and me to be curious and to follow our dreams. My growing passion for travel and adventure led me to take a Masters Degree in Tourism Management.
I was a young graduate when I met Jenn in Megève in 2006, where we worked together for a luxury chalet company. We quickly bonded and shared common professional goals: working efficiently and our client's satisfaction.
We then took different professional directions for a few years, Jenn specialised in sales and marketing within luxury hotel groups and I specialised in production and event logistics. But we always kept in the back of our minds that we would one day create something together and finally Jody offered us the opportunity to take over Mont Blanc Weddings!
After travelling around the world for many years, I am happy to be back in our beautiful region, living in Chamonix at the foot of Mont Blanc.
For me, organising a wedding means I can use the best of my event organisation skills: attention to detail as well as my great ability to network and create a bond with the couple. The reward is to be leading them to celebrate their love in front of their family and friends, exactly the way they had dreamed about it. I especially love the few minutes before the ceremony starts where we exchange a friendly look with the newlyweds, a shiver runs down my back and tears come to my eyes!
