Today, we wanted to share with you a particularly inspiring event that we had the pleasure of organising: the wedding of Yustiniya and Steven on 14 March 2020. Their deep commitment to the environment was a real source of inspiration and made their big day a model of sustainability.💚

A wedding designed with the planet in mind:
Upcycled wedding dress and decorations: Yustiniya’s wedding dress was sourced second-hand, giving new life to a beautiful piece while reducing resource consumption. As for the decorations, each element was handmade using recycled materials. No room for the disposable, every detail has been carefully thought out to minimise the ecological footprint.

Clever creations: Instead of fresh flowers, which unfortunately are often a source of waste, the bride and groom opted for creations made from an old English-Russian dictionary (the mother tongues of our 2 lovebirds). Not only did these decorations reduce waste, they also added a unique touch of elegance to the decor.

Birdseed instead of confetti: To celebrate the couple in an eco-friendly way, traditional confetti was replaced with birdseed, allowing nature to benefit from the festive touch.

Vegetarian dinner: The wedding dinner was entirely vegetarian, a decision that not only minimised the event’s carbon footprint, but also showed that delicious culinary options can be in harmony with sustainable principles.

Yustiniya and Steven’s wedding is a reminder that sustainability and elegance are not mutually exclusive. On the contrary, they can complement each other perfectly to create events that respect our planet while being memorable and beautiful. 🌟
